15th Anniversary!

Tuesday's:  July 6 - August 31, 2010

Buddy MacMastercei·lidhs [káylee] noun
folk music and storytelling parties: social events with singing and dancing to traditional Scottish or Irish music and storytelling.

The Ceilidh’s at the Creamery, established in 1995, changed their name to the Port Hawkesbury Ceilidh’s in 2007 after the Creamery became a chocolate factory. This season's Ceilidh’s are scheduled to start July 6th and run until August 31st. Starting at 8:00pm, they run for approximately one and a half hours with a short intermission midway. Admission for adults is $8.00, $4.00 for Youth; Children under 5 are admitted free.

The Ceilidh is very much a community project. The organization and presentation of the Ceilidh's is co-ordinated by a group of approximately 35 dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers.

Port Hawkesbury is located approximately 10 minutes east of the Canso Causeway on Route 104 (Fleur-de-lis trail). From Port Hawkesbury it is one hour to Baddeck, an hour and forty minutes to Sydney and an hour to Inverness.

And in 2002 with hosted Glenn Graham and Slainte Mhath.
